Is The Internet Making Us Stupid?

The Edge asks how the internet is changing the way we think in its Question for 2010:

Science historian George Dyson asks “what if the cost of machines that think is people who don’t?” He wonders “will books end up back where they started, locked away in monasteries and read by a select few?”.

  1. Maybe making us more distracted and less attentive. A lot of people get addicted to the internet, but I don’t think it makes anyone more “stupid”.
