Lamp That Runs on Human Blood

Bloody Lamp

The Blood Lamp is a project by Mike Thopmson intended to explore the idea, “What if power came at a cost to an individual?” In order to power the one-time-use lamp, you have to break off the top, dissolve the tablet, and put in a few drops of your own blood to start the luminescent reaction. “By creating a lamp that can only be used once, the user must consider when light is needed the most, forcing them to rethink how wasteful they are with energy, and how precious it is.”
